Peglio (El Pèi - in the GalloItalic dialect of Marche) is an Italian town of 738 inhabitants in the province of Pesaro and Urbino in the Marche. Is the basis of the upper valley of the Metaurus, rising above a massive boulder of gessite in a hilly landscape, on a balcony of 534 m above sea level which looks at the tight mountain ranges.

 

The climate of the Val Metaurus is temperate Mediterranean in low hill, the Apennines in the top and middle reaches of the river. Average annual temperatures range from 13°C to 11-12°C lower valley of the internal areas.
